At Harvard Vanguard, we are very proud to offer a unique donor insemination program for single women and lesbians interested in becoming parents. What makes it unique? Several things:
- Personal, intimate care in a safe and respectful environment
- High-quality care provided in a regular doctor’s office, not a fertility center, avoiding the cost and time of fertility testing if it is unnecessary for you
- Easy access to the fuller range of care you and your family may need, such as general and specialized obstetrical care, laboratory, pharmacy, imaging, fertility, primary care, and pediatrics
In the video below, meet Pauline Paquin and Jan Jasset, “the guiding forces” of our donor insemination program, as they describe the program in more detail.
If you are interested in our donor insemination program, your first step is to attend an orientation session. Jan and Pauline are very knowledgeable of the entire process and will discuss medical and health-related considerations as well as practical and important factors such as selecting a cryobank and insurance plan coverage.
After the orientation session, you can schedule an initial appointment with either Pauline or Jan, to develop a specific treatment plan for you – has it been a long time since you’ve had a physical? Do you have an underlying health condition that should be addressed before trying to conceive? Beyond the routine testing and screening tests, our team believes in caring for the whole person in order to provide the best chance for success.
